October

October in Orlando is all about cooler mornings, wearing jeans and Halloween scary-functions at the theme parks.  As a house, each of us has responded uniquely to these fall-time changes.  I personally have been running more frequently and in the mornings.  Brendan and both have found it amazing to wear a sweatshirt and jeans out at night.  Cliff is very aware of the coming of Hallows Eve as he watches the party Disney throws to celebrate entitled "Mickey's Not So Scary" during his shift in the Magic Kingdom.

Exciting news - Cliff is in training to become a server at Houston's.  This is a very sought after job as Houston's is well known as a chain of restaurants that does everything flawlessly and consistent.  Our local Houston's is only a 10 min. drive away and found in a beautiful community called Winter Park.  Brendan has a regular spot playing live every Thursday night downtown at a tea and wine cafe.  He is enjoying working at Starbucks and currently in the process of finding a job as a server.  I am enjoying waitressing and we are seeing business pick up as we move into fall and winter.  I'm in the process of becoming a volunteer for an organization called Give Kids the World.  This Organization makes it possible for kids with life-threatening illnesses to have a wonderful theme park-style experience at no cost.

Well guys thats a wrap for October - I'm off to the local Winter Park Farmers Market to buy some fruit and veggies!!  Love you all and thanks for your support and prayers!!

Beginnings

1 came from Boston, 1 from Hawaii and the other from Oregon.  East coast meets West - meeting to build community together in the Country's most Southern state - Florida.  Their mission:  to become a worldwide, locally rooted music management company serving the world's leading recording artists in the context of community by helping them do what they want to do, and cutting out the middle-man of the record label.  Mr. Boston is working at Starbucks and Rainforest Cafe, while writing music and preparing to play at gigs around O-town.  Mr. Hawaii is working for Disney, and establishing connections within the community.  Miss Oregon is waiting tables at a small neighborhood restaurant and getting to know the O-town people and scene.  Each is settling in and establishing a personal work-routine while staying connected through living in a house together and meeting for intercession and prayer.  God is at work all around - bringing friendship, connections, provision, and opportunity.

The next step:  Get Mr. Boston into the scene.
